Babbit metal particles are accelerated in the nozzle and melt upon impacting the substrate. This ensures a strong bond between the deposited layer and the substrate.

The nozzle CK20 with elongation insert БКК-35 produces the spray spot of 40 millimeters diameter and is used to spray babbit coatings at the surfaces areas above 15 cm2.
The nozzle CK20 with elongation insert БКЦ-8 produces the spray spot of about 10 millimeters diameter and is used to repair point and line defects at the existing babbit coatings.
